MPFA Review Online
(and off!)
You may have noticed that there has been no large-format
MPFA newspaper this fall. King Collins has been putting together
the MPFA Review since August, and it is readily available-in its continuously
updated form, so well suited to on-line publication-at the MPFA website.
Current plans are to continue to make it available on the web, and to provide
"hard copy" versions at the Lake and Willits centers, and the
part-time gang office (room 1167) in Ukiah. This way, you can peruse the
articles there, and copy any material you want to keep or pass along to
others. The website has been bookmarked on many of our computers, and it
accessible from any MC computer with an internet connection. Don't forget
that the Review is an interactive medium-your comments and contributions
are always welcome! For instance, our negotiators are getting ready for
the 2000-2001 talks, and need to hear from you what you think of the latest
agreement (full text available at the website, of course), and what you
would like to see for next year. We hope you will find this a timely and
economical way to get more in-depth coverage of news that affects your
professional life as a member of the MC faculty.
Review Articles Find out more about AB 420 and our future;
the case of Peter Field; Football Coach as top faculty hiring priority;
MPFA scholarship winners; Interviews with famous MC folks and more!
Executive Board meeting - Monday, December 6, at 1 p.m. in the CTA office,
Victory Theatre, 306 S. Main Street, Ukiah. All part-timers are welcome
to attend and participate.
