Forum on War in Iraq
Sponsored by the MPFA The part-time association presented a forum on the proposed war on Iraq. It took place at the College Hour (12 noon to 1:00 PM) Tuesday, March 4. Neill Bell moderated a presentation by two Political Science instructors (see photo), Larry Prudhomme (representing the view of the Bush administration) and Larry MacLeitch (representing the anti-war position). Their presentations took about 20 minutes and the rest of the hour was devoted to questions from the audience. The event was recorded and photographed by the MPFA. The Communication Committee edited the recording (editing consisted mostly of amplifying the voices of the questioners so that they could be heard) and produced a CD-ROM. Copies of the CD-ROM were provided to the presenters. More copies will be provided for others who are interested. (Contact the Communications Committee.)
