After more than a year, we are finishing up the design of the HOURS currency. The money is beautiful. Each of the four bills has a different historic photo from the past of the greater Ukiah valley area.

We chose historical photos to emphasize that there are some elements of the past, such as local production and distribution of goods, which might be a good investment for a sustainable future.

Ukiah HOURS comes in four denominations: 2, 1, 1/2 and 1/10. Here are two of them:
