 What's In Today's Box?

Sweet corn
Tomatoes
Asian pears
Carrots
Green beans
Eggplant
Chard
Squash
Basil

Dear people,

At this time of year we begin to give better value than we are able to at the start of most years. These Asian pears are the Shinseki variety. They are getting sweeter as they turn yellower, but they will keep for a while.

The large pump on the new part of the farm has gone on the fritz and we have a new one on the way. No sign of wilt yet but we are wanting to get water as soon as we can to keep the melons, winter squash and onions from stressing out. That,s my job.

Hope you are enjoying the corn even if has been tasted by worms. We try to trim off the offensive tips.

If you have friends who would like to sign up for the last twelve weeks, we are able to handle several more customers with no problem. Thank you for your support.

Sincerely,

Tom Palley
