We have planted almost 8 acres and
anticipate more produce soon.Dear people,
The new barn is up and the flooring is being nailed down on the second story. This will make shade for beneath the floor and shade is in short supply now. The heat has brought the peas and strawberries to their end and lettuce cannot last long now.
The boxes to date have been less in value than I am usually able to produce at this time of year, but we have planted most of eight acres and I anticipate having no trouble supplying more produce soon. It is possible that we may find a tiny squash or two still this week, but soon there should be more than enough. We are always tinkering with our water system to permit us to grow more. This year was a late start due to the prolonged wetness of April and early May.
Sincerely,
Tom Palley
