This photo was taken quite a while ago, and some things have changed. Joan and King have separated (since November 2001), abandoning their marriage of 17 years but not threir family. Virginia Collins (King's mother) died December, 1998. In the last years of Virginia's life, King began to build a photo album of her life (The Virginia Hiehle Collins Family Story) including pictures from Parkersburg, West Virginia (where she was born), Westerville, Ohio (where King was raised) and many other places that Virginia and Ty Collins (King's Dad) lived. Ty Collins died in 1973. Virginia lived many years in Ukiah, California near our family, so more pictures of our immediate family appear in this collection.
